Men’s haberdasher store the Armoury welcomed one of its ready-wear producers, Ring Jacket, for two days of fittings with a cocktail event on April 8, where guests sipped on No.3 London Dry Gin Martinis and King’s Ginger cocktails created by renowned mixologist Matt Radalj.

In addition to Ring Jacket’s Hidetoshi Sasamoto and Emi Sato, among those attending were dressmaker Vivian Luk, a protégé of Vera Wang, prominent barrister Brandon K.F Chau and the stylish Sofia Suarez, Alexa Bui and Paula Nissen.

The Armoury was established in 2010 by Mark Cho and Alan See, both of whom share a passion for classic styling and the stories behind well-crafted men’s clothing. Mark and Alan strive to find companies, factories, workshops and craftsmen dedicated to their product and craft and are selective with who it chooses as its artisans.

Based in Osaka, Ring Jacket, is recognized as one of the finest Japanese ready-to-wear producers. Since 1954, it has built a reputation for creating quality garments blending Japanese, British and American sensibilities with a southern Italian flair. It is one of the few producers who can say its production is completely Japanese, often collaborating with Japanese mills to create unique and distinctive cloths not available anywhere else. Its flagship store is located in Nishitemman, Osaka with three additional stores at Isetan Shinjuku, Hankyu Umeda, and Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi.

No.3 is the London Dry Gin distilled to a proprietary recipe of Berry Bros. & Rudd, London’s oldest wine and spirit merchant. The name No.3 refers to the address in St James’s Street, London, Berrys’ home since 1698. The King’s Ginger was specifically formulated by Berry Bros. in 1903 for renowned sartorialist, King Edward VII. Rich and zesty, the liqueur was created to stimulate His Majesty during morning rides in his Daimler.
