Haute Event: Fashionably Conscious Kickoff Event at Ornare

The highly anticipated annual Fashionably Conscious fundraiser, featuring donated designer items from Miami’s most coveted closets kicked off last Wednesday, April 6, at the ORNARE showroom in the Design District. The event was hosted by Jofre-Collett, Susannah Shubin, Alan Randolph and Laura Buccellanti. Guests dined on a sumptuous spread from Le Basque while taking in the dazzling display of designer wares donated from Miami’s most elite socialites to be sold at the Fashionably Conscious sale.

Donationsinclude Christian Louboutin and JimmyChoo shoes; Prada, Christian Dior and Ferragamo bags; a one-of-a-kind Jason Woo dress donated by Debra Scholl;and Gucci and Hugo Boss suits from Frank Kelly (for the first time the sale will be including both Men’s and Children’s wares).
The clothing and accessories will be sold with proceeds benefitting Coconut Grove Care The Barnyard. The organization offers free after-school and summer programs to over 250 children and provides a needed safe-haven for the West Grove community.

Fashionably Conscious will be taking place with a VIP preview sale and happy hour on Friday, May 13 from 6 – 9 p.m. and an all-day sale on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m.– 5 p.m. in the Shops of Mayfair at 3390 Mary Street, Coconut Grove.
