by Susie Wong

Elizabeth Hurley didn’t think twice about reprising her role as Master of Ceremonies as The Breast Cancer Research Foundation held its annual Hot Pink Party charity bash where celeb attendees were Tickled Pink enough to raise $4.5 million in honor of the cause. Television personality, Deborah NorvillefromInside Edition and Lydia Fenet of Christie’s rallied guests to bid high on live auction items including tickets to the2012 Vanity Fair Oscar After Party, a Turks and Caicos Fantasy Getaway on Donna Karan’s Estate, and the chance to sponsor “research time.” Even Sir Elton John and TrudieStyler joined in on the excitement, waving their pink feather fans, to help fund an entire research project.

Despite a little cold, Sting still brought a stage full of women to their knees as he serenaded them with his finale song, “Desert Rose.” Sir Elton John also performed a set to honor the 172 researchers spanning 12 countries abroad.

The touted event also attracted big names like Abigail Breslin, model Carolyn Murphy, Miss USA, Donna Karan, Zac Posen, and “Project Runway”phenom Christian Siriano.
