The GLAAD Media Awards kicked off their 22nd annual celebration in Los Angeles on Sunday. Hosted inside the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown L.A. by celebrity guest Rashida Jones and Amy Poehler.   Some of the nights top contenders were I Love You Phillip Morris, Glee, Modern Family and Project Runway. Kristin Chenoweth was honoree with the Vanguard Award and Robert Greenblatt, the Chairman of NBC Entertainment, was named as the recipient for the Stephen F. Kolzak Award.

Some of the evening’s highlights were ROKK Vodka Cocktails leading into an evening of cunning quips by the events hosts and a special performance by Dolly Parton. The true highlight of the evening was ROKK donating $100 for every celebrity signature on the Mike Ruiz photograph from the evening.  Several celebrities donated their signature to the good cause, helping raise $12,500 that evening.

Hopefully this great cause helped bring some awareness in a time when homophobic bullying and suicide has been at its height.
