You love a great cupcake — it’s the perfect size to satisfy your sweet tooth and small enough so that you don’t feel like you’ve got to triple your time on the elliptical. And there’s no better place to get your cupcake fix than Casey’s Cupcakes, which will represent Orange County on an upcoming episode of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. To celebrate their television appearance, they’ll be serving up a flavor that’s featured on the show — the Elizabeth Taylor.

Available now through April 30th, Casey’s Cupcakes is serving the Elizabeth Taylor cupcake in honor of one of the most famous Hollywood icons of all time. Not only that, the cupcake is also a winning cupcake from Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. The Elizabeth Taylor is a chili chocolate cupcake, made with dark chocolate cake spiced up with chili and cayenne powder and topped with ganache frosting, glittering 24-karat gold, sparkling edible glitter and several sugar diamonds.

Created for the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, challengers were faced with creating a “Hollywood Walk of Fame” themed cupcake. With the irresistible glitz and glam of the Elizabeth Taylor-inspired Chili Chocolate cake, Casey’s Cupcakes won over the judges. For fans of the show, the “Walk of Fame” episode (which was shot in February 2011) will air on May 3, 2011 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
