Dori’s World: Night out in Miami
I spent yesterday lying out at the Setai and then I got a relaxing massage. Last night Harry and I went to see Miky and Leticia Grendene at Casa Tua as our first stop of the evening. Then I headed to Cecconi’s at Soho Beach House with Loren and JR Ridinger, Kamal Hotchandani, Jon Cheban, Rob Vecsler, Ingrid Casares, Stefanie Hirsch, Andrew Sasson, Andy Massey, and Daniel Urzedo.
After a fabulous dinner, we went to Loren and JR’s unreal house and boat for after dinner drinks and dessert. Their house is beautiful and such amazing hosts they are. We sat outside looking out at the moon, talking, laughing on their yacht in there back yard. Who doesn’t love Miami!

Summertime, especially early July, is my favorite time of year to vacation in St. Tropez. The restaurants aren’t too crowded and hotspots such as Club 55 have a nice mix of patrons.
This weekend I flew to Palm Beach with Eleanor Propp and spent time there with Debbie and Harlan Peltz. Then I stopped by Boca for some time with by family before heading to Miami!
Haute 100 San Francisco member, founder of The GAP, and revered art collector Doris Fisher has recently loaned a 235-ton sheet metal sculpture called “Sequence” to the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University, of which Fisher is an alumna and still keeps close connections to.
I am so excited for this weekend, my good friend artist Stephanie Hirsch will be showing her work in The Miami Design District in one of Craig Robin's amazing Dacra galleries.
On Wednesday night, Matthew and Nicole Mellon hosted a cocktail party for Alvin Vallley at their home and then it was off to the Joseph Nahmad Blind pop up gallery where Nicky Hilton, Mariell Safra and Leonardo Dicaprio all turned out to support him.
Down in Miami for Art Basel. Tuesday night was dinner at the Rubelles Gallery opening, and then a quick stop into the Ferarri party and then off to the Soho House for White Cube event.
From Ibizia to Cap Ferrat, France to relax for a few nights. We stayed at the Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, had dinner at a friend Rodrigo De Santiago's fabulous villa one night and another night at Tetou, then off to Monaco where we hit up the Hotel Hermitage, Monaco Beach Club, Jimmy'z Night Club and the...
Dori Cooperman heads down to MIami for the weekend for Jeff Hirsch's birthday
On Thursday night, NBC and The Cinema Society hosted the premiere of the new show "Smash." I'm so excited for this series! It is fun, well written and entertaining.
