Don’t miss “Faces of the Middle East” an exclusive photographic exhibition by Dubai One’s TV Anchor Hermoine Macura at the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. Hermoine traveled the Middle East region and documented image of the region’s people. Their faces tell stories of survival, hardship, displacement, loss, love and the common thread of humanity.

Designed and published by UAE based, COVA group, “Faces of the Middle East” explores unique locations, cities and places in the Middle East still unknown to many. Hermoine’s work captures the beauty of a region in the constant flux of development and cultural change. Her images offer a fresh insight and a unique glimpse into a region so often misunderstood and misrepresented in today’s globalizing culture.

Opening at the Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding in Dubai this evening, the “Faces of the Middle East” exhibition features Hermoine’s photographs and speakers who talk about the UAE’s origins and culture. Visitors can also look forward to an exclusive performance by traditional Palestinian dancers and Arab musicians.
