Tomorrow: Join Umami Sushi to Raise Money to Help Japan

As we all have seen plastered all over the news, Japan suffered one of its worst natural disasters in history. After the 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck, a terrible tsunami came prowling after. It is now being estimated that the costs of the damages are up to $235 billion. The death toll keeps on rising as the days pass and there are thousands that have been left homeless and with practically nothing.
Tomorrow, March 22, As a way to raise funds for the Red Cross and provide relief efforts to those affected in Japan, many Japanese restaurants have gathered forces and proclaimed they will be giving some of the profits and tips to the Red Cross. Umami has decided to give all profits and tips to raise funds for those affected by the disaster. With the many Japanese roots tied with Umami from their suppliers to their employees, they will gladly donate their time as well as this is a tragic event that is very dear to their hearts.
