Romantic Return: Celestial Picnics at Four Seasons Scottsdale

What could be more romantic than an elegant dinner for two under starry skies with the dramatic Sonoran Desert landscape for a backdrop? Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is once again offering its popular Celestial Picnics that have couples from all over the Valley swooning.

The Celestial Picnic provides everything you need to set the scene for romance, whether you’ve been trying to find the right time to pop the question, finally say those three little words, or reassure your better half that he or she is still the one who makes your heart go pitter-patter. From start to finish, the experience promises to be not just enchanting, but also luxurious, as the Four Seasons staff have thought of absolutely everything you’ll need.

You and your date need only check with with the concierge upon arrival, after which you’ll be escorted to one of the resort’s private and well-manicured lawns — a space which has been reserved exclusively for the two of you for the duration of the evening. (In other words, you won’t have to worry about any awkward interruptions just as you’re getting down on one knee …)

Already awaiting you will be a picnic blanket and table — set with china and glassware, natch — as well as a picnic basket featuring a first-rate three-course meal, a constellation star chart, wireless speakers so that you can serenade your loved one via your personal iPod, and an iPad already equipped with an application to provide information on the constellations.

Want a personal butler to assist with dinner? Four Seasons can provide one. How about a private musician? The resort can do that, too. In fact, the resort can even book you a professional astronomer and a telescope for the evening so you both can experience a fun and private astronomy lesson and a guided stargazing session. Sounds positively heavenly, right?

Don’t hesitate: Hurry and book your Celestial Picnic now before Arizona temps soar into the triple digits and the oppressive heat makes dining outdoors decidedly less romantic.

Call Talavera Coordinator Vaughn Allen at 480.513.5029 to make arrangements and discuss the different picnic options.

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is located at 10600 E. Crescent Moon Drive in Scottsdale
