Haute Secrets Las Vegas: Evan Glusman

Haute Secrets Las Vegas
Evan Glusman
The stats: Born and raised in Las Vegas, currently living in the Las Vegas Country Club Estates.
Why he loves Las Vegas: Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World. Where else can you feast on the world’s tastiest cuisine from an unparalleled roster of celebrity chef eateries, see the best entertainment that Broadway has to offer and enjoy the scintillating nightlife until the wee hours of the morning? It’s all here and more. I’m proud to call Las Vegas home and love the diversity this city continues to offer.
Who says Las Vegas doesn’t have any long-standing businesses? Piero’s Italian Cuisine is one of those old-school restaurants that has been serving up one of the best osso buccos in the city for more than 30 years. Evan Glusman, who took over operations from his father Freddie, remembers helping prep food at age 10 and busing tables when he was 12. He skipped school the day Sharon Stone filmed the scenes for “Casino” in a booth at the restaurant. Piero’s remains the type of place to see the power players of Las Vegas: Holly Madison dining in a corner booth; attorneys Michael V. Cristalli and Marc Saggese taking a table by the bar. And none of them are ever bothered. Piero’s is that kind of classy. Find out Evan Glusman’s favorite places in Las Vegas in our latest Haute Secrets guide to the city.
