Haute Event: Sorrento Grille’s Beer Dinner

Sorrento Grille, the 22-year-old restaurant that’s still going strong in downtown Laguna, is hosting a beer dinner April 6th for fans of food and fine beer. Teaming with the North Coast Brewing Co., Chef Ryan Adams is creating a fresh, farm-to-fork menu that’s the perfect pairing for foodies and beer lovers alike.

The North Coast Brewing Co. is an award-winning micro-brewery located on the scenic Mendocino coast. They’re known for their contributions to the craft beer movement and the international awards that they’ve earned throughout the years. Brewmaster Mark Ruedrich has earned over 70 awards, so teaming up with Ryan Adams at Sorrento Grille was a natural choice. During the dinner, which will highlight luxe pub grub and micro-brews, diners can enjoy five perfectly paired courses for just $45.

Courses include a chorizo slider paired with Acme pale ale and a meat loaf accompanied by North Coast’s Brother Thelonious Abbey Ale, along with appetizers, a dessert and more. Diners can also enjoy a private Q&A with a North Coast expert, who will be on hand throughout the meal to share the brewing process and provide details on each and every choice on the menu.

So skip the gastropub and head to a local favorite known for their fresh take on food. Trust us when we say that this menu definitely gives some of OC’s gastropub standbys some stiff competition.
