Haute Event: Roth Capital at the Ritz Carlton Dana Point
On March 14th and 15th, the Ritz Carlton was rocking, rolling and awash with white for Roth Capital’s two-day 23rd Annual OC Conference celebration. The two-night, two-concert event was split into a night for rock and roll — featuring none other than Joan Jett — and a second that was a white hot night of Miami Glam with a performance by Pitbull.
Better described as a luminary event (this was no average company picnic), this year’s lineup boasted over 400 presenting companies with a median market value of approximately $200 million. To reflect that, everything from the entertainment to the decor were top notch, from rhinestone-encrusted big cats to the latest in laser lights.
The first night was all rock and roll, but the second night shone brighter than anything else — the whole crowd was dressed in white and as Pitbull took the stage, the audience was just as brilliant as any super full moon. Elite Productions has worked with Roth Capital for over a decade, so both nights went without a snag. In the past, conferences have had performances by the likes Billy Idol, the Black Eyed Peas, the Pussycat Dolls and Snoop Dog.
