Haute Event: Oscar Viewing Party at the Drake
On Sunday February 27, approximately 100 guests attended the 83rd Oscar Awards viewing party hosted by Shaun Rajah with the Drake Hotel and Cece & Melinda with Raymi Productions. Dressed to impress for this black tie affair guests were greeted with a glass of champagne and enjoyed a delightful 3-course meal. Chicago’s sweetheart Anna Davlantes, co-host of “Good Day Chicago” joined in the soiree and luxurious goody bags were given to each guest with dessert. Over night Hilton hotel stays and a Club International membership were awarded as prizes for best dressed man and woman and for the closest guess for the Oscar Ballot.

Last night after his sold-out performance at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel, Drake held his post-concert party at Vanity Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel.
On Friday night, Tao at the Venetian hosted Drake's official concert after-party and the Grammy-nominated rapper even shouted out Tao a few times during his concert.
Rapper Aubrey “Drake” Graham put his two Miami, Florida condos on the market this past January after only one year from date of purchase. After putting down $1.9 million for them, one buyer took them off his hands for $2.4 million.
Drake celebrated his 25th birthday at Tao at the Venetian on Saturday night. The Young Money/Cash Money Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist and actor was joined by friends, family and fans for the Las Vegas bash presented by Martini Moscato d’Asti.
The model completed her red carpet look with jewels by none other than Haute Living Jewelry Ambassador Martin Katz.
Drake enjoyed Lavo at the Palazzo so much that he dined there twice during his birthday weekend celebration in Las Vegas.
Last night, the cast of the ABC sitcom “Cougar Town” hosted a viewing party at Moon Nightclub inside the Palms. Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Brian Van Holt, Ian Gomez, Josh Hopkins and Bob Clendenin were all on hand for the party.
Drake had purchased two units in the Marquis Miami condominium in January of 2011 and has now decided to let go of the properties.
Earlier today, Wet Republic at the MGM Grand officially opened its doors to the public for the 2012 Las Vegas pool season. Former Mayor Oscar B. Goodman was present to kick off the daylife destination’s fifth season along with Mark Prows, vice president of entertainment for MGM Grand.
