This Saturday, celebrate the Museum of Modern Design Atlanta’s move to the Midtown Arts Corridor in style at their Grand Opening Party. Doubling as a fundraiser and a preview for MODA’s inaugural Midtown exhibit, Passione Italiana: Design of the Italian Motorcycle, this is definitely the one event you cannot miss this weekend.

The evening will feature an explosion of all things Italian, from the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to the thrilling motorcycle exhibit celebrating Italian design. As if that wasn’t enough of la dolce vita, Italian style, the event will also host a silent auction with items ranging from a private wine tasting and a ride the racetrack at the Barber Vintage Sports Museum to an ultra-chic ladies accessories package. With a high energy soundtrack perfectly suited to match the slew of motorcycles from the last five decades from Ducati, MV Augusta, Bimota and Moto-Morini, attendees will be talking about this one for weeks to come.

The event takes place from 7-10 p.m. at the Museum of Modern Design Atlanta’s new Midtown location. Tickets are $100 per person and are available at www.museumofdesign.org or by calling 404.979.6455.
