Yesterday evening, Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour was aflutter with the who’s who of Miami. The occasion? Only the most alluring fashion show of the season!

Haute Living teamed up with Neiman Marcus and Martini to put together an eclectic display of this Spring’s most coveted pieces for Neiman Marcus’ Fashion Rules! event.

Styled by our very own Fashion Director, Jilian Sanz, the show featured approximately 20 looks pieced together by some of today’s hottest designers. Jilian also narrated the show, highlighting each look and the Spring trend from which it was inspired from. Onlookers were amazed at how effortlessly traditional luxury brands like Gucci and Giorgio Armani with trendy, contemporary fashions from those like Elizabeth and James and 3.1 Philip Lim. For example, white Gucci cigarette pants were paired with a sheer white top by 3.1 Philip Lim that had gorgeous tassel cufflinks for a little something extra; and a gold metallic Jil Sander skirt was paired with a raw linen Yves Saint Laurent, cropped corset and black and gold Charlotte Olympia platforms. The diversity of color, fabrics, and styles used to create outfits from casual-yet-sophisticated daytime look to elegant evening wear looks. What I learned? pairing off-white with white is OK, and bright colors like Coral are the big colors of this season.

After runway show, guests mingled and enjoyed mini appetizers while sipping on Martini sparkling wine. They also lined up for the photo booth, where they could have their picture taken and printed out as if on the cover of Haute Living magazine.
