Haute Event: Dolce & Gabbana, Monica Bellucci and Pharell Williams at D&G Dinner in Moscow
As a part of Russia-Italy cross-cultural year, the Italian Ambassador in Russian capital, Antonio Zanardi Landi, hosted the VIP dinner to mark Dolce & Gabbana and Bacardi’s vermouth brand Martini collaboration. Guests of honor at the private dinner at the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Moscow included Italian actress Monica Bellucci, superb Italian designers Dominico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and rapper Pharell Williams.
For the exclusive shindig, the halls inside the embassy’s historical building were set up to evoke the atmosphere of the renowned movie The Leopard by Luchino Visconti. One of the hightlights of the evening was presentation of Martini® Gold by Dolce&Gabbana drink (gorgeous Monica Bellucci is the face of the campaign).
The guests feasted on carpaccio of manzo with Parmigiano cheese, Italian-style zuppa de pecce, pappardelle with rabbit and porcini, and other and other Tuscany delights form Cantinetta Antinori restaurant. Most of the invitees of course opted for Dolce & Gabbana dresses for the occasion.
The after-party took place at the Garage Centre of Contemporary Art. It was the only one of its kind experience: Dance Art Garage extravaganza, a multi sensorial event involving art, music and people. It didn’t take long for the party to escalate as three time Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams turned into DJ for a night and entertained the guests with an exclusive set.
