Haute Eat: Joe’s Cafe

Seemingly tucked away on the upper levels of the Dubai Mall, Joe’s Cafe combines delicious European cuisine with stunning views onto the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa making it one of the culinary gems of the Dubai Mall.

Founded by Joseph Ettedgui, the namesake of Joseph Boutiques (Joe’s Cafe is situated adjacent to Joseph), the cafe takes its inspiration from the original London restaurant located on Sloane Square which was a favorite among celebrities and members of the art and fashion crowd. The Dubai branch offers European fare with a Mediterranean preference. Chef Rahim Hajir offers a variety of dishes. Try the asparagus soup or crab salad with mild chili dressing for starters; the seabass with steam vegetables, pasta in pink sauce and seafood risotto for mains. Arabic-influence imbues some dishes to the tastes of the region such as the date sticky toffee pudding.

Sit out on the terrace and delight in one of the best views in town- of the Dubai Fountain performance and iconic presence of the Burj Khalifa.
