Haute Dining: The Award-Winning Forge Restaurant Now Offering Sunday Brunch
by Pauline Sung

Miami Beach’s landmark Forge restaurant has long been a favorite of both Miami locals and visitors alike. Their award-winning menu has continually satisfied patrons with a penchant for fresh, innovative, and – above all – incredibly tasty dishes. Previously only open to guests for dinner, starting Sunday, March 6 the Forge is bringing their sumptuous culinary creations to the celebrated weekend highlight that is Sunday Brunch.

“There is nothing better than gathering with family and friends, eating good food and feeling like you’ve found a place that you could stay long after you’ve finished your meal,” says the Forge restaurant’s owner Shareef Malnik. “We are building a home for our clients, a haven that gives guests a place to dine, a place to read, a place to talk business, a place to watch sports, a place to be inspired and now a place to be lazy on Sundays.  We are thrilled to introduce this new dimension to The Forge and serve Miami in another capacity.”

Overseen by executive chef Dewey LoSasso, the extensive brunch spread will herald a “Progressive American” flair and will tastefully combine seasonally-inspired breakfast classics with an innovative farm- and ocean-to-table approach. And, because Sunday is the ultimate day of leisure and rest, the Forge’s Sunday Brunch will feature unlimited Mimosas, a full Bloody Mary bar with a impressive array of different vodkas, gins, and tasty fixings, multiple self-serve stations of their tasty creations, and an additional 15 different entrée options to be served to the table. From the finest and freshest South Florida-sourced ingredients, Chef LoSasso has blessed Sunday Brunch with mouthwatering dishes including Bloody Mary Ceviche, Porcini Seared Sea Scallops, and Malted Berry Pancakes. Now kick back, relax, and enjoy that Bloody Mary bar… because brunch is just better when garnished with a bacon-stuffed olive.

The Forge Restaurant will start its new brunch tradition on Sun., March 6 from 11 a.m. until 3:00, every Sunday. Cost is $55 per adult and $32 per child. The Forge Restaurant is located at 432 41st Street in Miami Beach. For reservations call 305.538.8533 or visit www.theforge.com.
