Haute Cuts: Sassoon’s New Season

Hair, like fashion, goes through seasonal collections and changes. You know the feeling — aching for beach waves in the summer and maybe a more editorial bob in the winter — but the salon that takes that idea to the next level is Sassoon, naturally. The South Coast Plaza location has a new Assistant Creative Director and a new season to get you looking great just in time for spring.
Dubbed the Demi Monde Collection, Vidal Sassoon’s latest season features styles influenced by the photographs of Brassai. Images of the Parisian underground scene come into play no matter what your style. They’ve got the angular bobs that Sassoon is known for as well as longer interpretations and a whole rainbow of color treatments that take from the multifaceted hues of glass art.
Assistant Creative Director Edward Tedeschi, new to the Orange County salon, is prepped and ready to go with the latest cuts and styles. Having helmed his scissors behind the chair in the Sassoon Salon in Boston, he’s taken up residence at the South Coast Plaza location. Working closely with the rest of the salon staff, he’ll make sure the latest Demi Monde Collection finds its way into your style, whether you’re looking for a major change or just a little taste of Sassoon’s latest.
Sassoon Salon is located at 3333 Bristol St., at South Coast Plaza. To book an appointment or to get more information on the Demi Monde collection, call the salon at 714.556.5673 or visit www.sassoon.com.
