Haute Fashion: Handcrafted Jewelry Line Bella Rose Debuts at Northpark’s SWAG

The newest addition to the glittering ranks of Dallas jewelry designers is Tammi Morris, with her new line Bella Rose. Featuring antique, vintage holy medals and reproductions of European designs, the meticulously handcrafted pieces have already been seen on the likes of Anne Rice and Johnny Depp. They create a breathtaking juxtaposition of pure, unadulterated beauty and a haunting allure underlined by history.

This new venture happens 17 years after Morris was hired by legendary Dallas boutique owner and future mother-in-law Margaret Morris, who founded and ran Rue de Rêves, the hottest couture boutique in Dallas from the late ‘70’s to the mid ‘90’s.  Tami Morris, just after gaining her double degree in Design and Merchandising, was hired by Margaret to assist with the new line of hand painted silk dresses and manage the shop.

Now older and with a family of her own, Tammi has taken her expertise and, along with her sister, created a one-of-a-kind line of jewelry inspired by her experiences.  Bella Rose (the namesake of Tammi’s two daughters) showcases museum quality antique jewelry. All of the medals used in their line, whether pulled from their mother’s collection or sought after, are of European origin and age from 50 to 150 years. The Italian sisters take an exhaustive search to always find the highest quality and most valued medals within France, Belgium and Italy; each medal has a sacred origin with some even bearing past inscriptions to loved ones.

With just six months of having a presence in the Texas market, SWAG in North Park Center has selected Bella Rose as one of their featured lines.
