As with every year, FUNKSHION – Fashion Week Miami Beach, will fuse music and fashion like no other city in the world could do, in MIAMI STYLE!

Funkshion – Fashion Week Miami Beach celebrates its 16th season with an amazing line up of shows, benefits, and concerts. The two block long, state of the art fashion and event tents will be built directly on the sand, with an entrance on 10th Street and Ocean Drive in Lummus Park in the heart of Miami Beach. The venue will feature three unique spaces with a large court yard for sponsor activations in the main area.

FUNKSHION – Fashion Week Miami Beach is a four day/evening long event that provides an intelligent, innovative platform for progressive and established designers to showcase their collections to media, celebrities, international buyers, and select style makers. The shows are geared towards designer diffusion collections and innovative lifestyle brands. Designers will integrate music into their shows, many personally selecting their favorite celebrity DJs and bands to preside over their runway shows.

As with every year, we make many events and shows available to the public. For (almost) every event/show hundreds of people can rsvp to the website and attend, free of charge.

Some of the highlights we are looking forward to are Richie Rich and Pachi Lake hosting a kick-off dinner party at EDEN restaurant on March 22 then with their show Sexxy Pop at the tents on March 23.

They will also be having a night of Italian TV Moda, a runway show of designs from Roberto Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood, Blumarine, Iceberg, Alberta Ferretti,  Moschino, Stella McCartney, Byblos, Parah and VDP. This is a 2-hiyr fashion show made for TV with LIVE performances.

The days to follow also include Fashion Loves Haiti: Changing the perception of fashion through Haiti’s leading designers and Masquerade Motel featuring Indashio and The Blonds with a performance by Swedish House Mafia

This will definitely be a Haute event not to be missed.
