Max Girombelli, owner of the prestigious Italian men’s tailor Duca Sartoria is back in Dubai for another exclusive Made-to-Measure event at the exclusive Capital Club which celebrates it’s 3rd year anniversary this evening with a James Bond styled party. One of the sponsors, Duca Sartoria hosts its trunk show to celebrate the occasion.

This time around Max held his first trunk show in Abu Dhabi at the newly opened luxurious Cipriani Hotel on Yas Island as part of the Abu Dhabi Yach Show. Illustrious guests tricked into Max’s atelier in Cipriani’s Cigar Room while he fitted them in Duca Sartoria’s tailor made-to-measure garments.

The Girombelli family has been in the men’s atelier business for three generations  and has produced some of world’s best tailored men’s suits. Max’s uncle discovered Gianni Versace and his father and older brother worked closely with men’s fashion in Italy especially with designers such Enrico Coveri, Marithé François Girbaud, Franco Moschino, and Valentino Garavani.

Max thus grew up in a world full of creativity and love for fashion. He often used his family business as a way to test his designs and inspirations for menswear. After many years of working in the family business, he and his younger brother Roberto decided to launch their own company dedicated entirely to the tailoring of men’s suits. Duca Sartoria was born.
