Buy Tickets for the LPGA Founders Cup and Help Arizona Hospitals

If you plan on making it to the 2011 RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup this month at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, you had better also plan on securing your tickets through Scottsdale Healthcare. Doing so will not only score you discounted passes but also benefit patient care in Scottsdale Healthcare hospitals.
The inaugural RR Donnelley Founders Cup is scheduled to be held this year at Wildfire Golf Club March 16-20 on two scenic 18-hole courses designed by golf legends Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo.
The event will be a can’t-miss experience for fans of the LPGA, featuring three days, 154 holes and 134 players in the field set against the backdrop of the McDowell Mountains and Sonoran Desert saguaros — with all the action going down on the fairways that “Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine” named the “Best Resort Course in the Southwest.”
You just have to go, right? Head over to scottsdalehealthcaretickets.org to purchase discounted tickets. Half of the cost of each discounted ticket sold through the site will be donated by LPGA to the Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation.
Discounts include Any Day Grounds tickets for $15 each (regularly $20 each), which provide access for any one day of competition — Friday, Saturday or Sunday; and Weekly Grounds tickets for $40 each (regularly $50), which provide access to the tournament grounds Wednesday through Sunday.
The foundation supports three locally based, nonprofit Scottsdale Healthcare hospitals located throughout the city — facilities which offer myriad emergency, medical and surgical services — and donations made via Founders Cup ticket purchases will be put toward medical technology, patient care and facility improvements.
Additionally, the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup has committed to donating its entire $1 million purse to charity, with $500,000 going to LPGA-USGA Girls Golf and $500,000 going to the top 10 finishers’ designated charities.
