A New Bar that Combines Beef, Beer and Bourbon

Wow say that title 10 times fast. Fulton’s on the River has always been a swanky after-work hangout between the breeze of the boats on the Chicago River and the glow of the bankers in their shiny suits. But don’t worry, they’re stepping it up a notch. Opening Monday is Bridge Bar, the new top floor bar of your favorite sea level hangout.

And just in case you were craving a side of meat with your beverage, you can now get the two combined for a heartier, savory fill if you will. The Bullshot features jerky infused vodka, beef bullion, lemon juice, Tabasco and Worcestershire.  Or try the China Bull Shop with Slim Jim infused bourbon (who comes up with this stuff?), sweet vermouth and house cured cherries. The Beef & Barley is a combination of tomato, beef and beer and quite honestly, I’m not sure if you’re supposed to drink it or eat it with a spoon. Emily Post, what’s the proper etiquette for beef beer? Can you say man cave in the making?
