The Wigwam Invites Baseball Fans to Soak Up the Sun and Light Up the Night

A playground awaits baseball fans and spring breakers at The Wigwam, refreshed with its $7 million upgrades. With the “Home Run Spring Training Package” and the “Soak Up the Sun and Light Up the Night” activities, there doesn’t have to be a dull moment during your stay. Unless, of course, that’s what you were going for.

Baseball enthusiasts from all over the country have already started to descend upon the Valley. And if you haven’t made your reservations yet, have we got a deal for you. The newly rejuvenated, 400-acre Wigwam resort is making available a Home Run Spring Training Package throughout the month of March, offering 15 percent off a two-night stay, 25 percent off a three-night stay and 35 percent off a four-night stay.

And located on the west side of the Valley, The Wigwam is perfectly situated for you to make it your home base while you catch training sessions at five of the Arizona Cactus League’s stadiums, including the facilities of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres.

For the times when you aren’t taking in a spring training game, you’ll have the option of joining in some fun at the resort with the “Soak Up The Sun & Light Up The Night” daily activities, geared toward baseball fans and spring breakers. Each weekend during spring training season, guests can take a swing at The Wigwam’s Home Run Derby for a chance to win autographed baseball items, join in ice block races, citrus putting challenges, 60-second game challenges and even desert zoo animal encounters

If pure R&R is more your thing, catch sunset movies poolside at the new Lodge Pool with separate areas for adults and families. The adult zone includes private, luxury cabanas and a new poolside grill. In the evenings, enjoy nightly live entertainment, fireside s’mores, “glo golf,” specialty bar classes on cocktails and more.

The Home Run Spring Training Package is available during the month of March and begins at $259 per night. For reservations, call 623.935.3811 or visit The Wigwam online here.

The Wigwam is located at 300 E. Wigwam Blvd. in Litchfield Park
