With two menus and spa treatments that are sure to make you swoon, The Setai in South Beach is a lavish choice for a romantic meal and stay this Valentine’s Day.
Diners will fall head-over-heals after indulging in a choice of Five- or Seven-Course Tasting Menus, which include such exquisite plates made to stimulate desire like an aphrodisiac of yellow tail Hamachi and Kushi oysters, delicious Nova Scotia lobster ravioli with Nantucket Bay scallops, hearty roasted prime strip loin beef with black truffle sauce, exotic cannelloni of avocado and scallops ceviche and a luscious bitter sweet warm chocolate tart.
If that’s not enough to tantalize your senses, the hotel’s Head Sommelier Dwayne Savoie pairs each course with carefully selected wines. The Five-Course Menu, priced at $110/$45 with wine pairings, will be offered Saturday Feb. 12 along with an a la carte menu. The Seven-Course Menu, $155/$55 with wine pairings, will be presented on Valentine’s Day, as well as the Five-Course Menu.
For out-of-town couples looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway, The Setai Experience package offers luxurious accommodations, champagne upon arrival, the Setai grand breakfast for two daily and a choice of one 60-minute spa treatment for two, a facial or a body polish. Rates start at $775 with a three-night minimum.
The romance doesn’t need to end there. To really enjoy a weekend away from reality with your special someone, the Couple’s Love Ceremony is a spa experience that is perfect in pairs. Following champagne and canapés in a soak-filled bath with Love Potion and rose petals, couples can melt away any tension with one 60-minute Couple’s Ancient Balinese Massage and Love Bath Ceremony overlooking the Setai’s three clear-blue swimming pools. Priced at $500, the Couple’s Love Ceremony is available for the entire month of February.
