Haute Event: Cocktail Culture Series with Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim

Industry folk: The South Beach Wine & Food Festival officially ends on Sunday, Feb. 27, but that doesn’t mean the party has to stop. Extend the festivities with one more night of lively libations at the Bacardi Headquarters and special guest Tony Abou-Ganim, The Modern Mixologist. Tony Abou-Ganim is the author of the recently published “bartender bible” Mixologist: Contemporary Class Cocktails and is internationally acclaimed for his mixology knowledge.
Join local mixologists, bartenders, consultants, and haute restaurant individuals for a night of complete “Cocktail Culture.” Elevating the Craft is an exclusive and private ongoing cocktail culture series, which aims to provide the local mixology community an open platform for the discussion and education on the subject. Light hors d’oeuvres and cocktails by Bombay Sapphire will be served and entertainment will be provided by DJ Jean Marc of Hakkasan.
Elevating the Craft kicks off its 2011 season on Monday, Feb. 28 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Bacardi Headquarters, 2701 LeJeune Road., 15th floor, Coral Gables. This private event is exclusively for the mixology community and media, please RSVP by Sunday, Feb. 27 to rsvp@galenapr.com.
