With the 2011 South Beach Wine and Food Festival coming to town next week, so will thousands of foodies from all over the country looking to soak up some Florida sunshine while hoping to spot a glimpse of their favorite celebrity chef and indulging in copious amounts of delicious food and smooth and sophisticated wines. The festival has continued to garner national attention year after year due in large part to the lush and tropical Miami setting, where much of the food presented takes its inspiration. Luckily, there is a way for locals and tourists alike to get up close and personal to some of the best restaurants in Miami that personify the area’s distinct culture. The South Beach Food Tour is an ideal way to, in a way, go behind the scenes of the South Beach Wine and Food Festival and see, smell, and taste for yourself the type of cuisine that makes Miami the Culinary Mecca of the south.

The South Beach Food Tour provides an authentic way to experience the rich history and colorful cuisine of Miami Beach. Every stop has been carefully selected to provide a diverse sampling of the prominent dishes each neighborhood is known for as a way for people to gain a true understanding of the exciting food that makes Miami thrive. Once you have completed the South Beach Food Tour, you will have seen for yourself why so many people flock to Miami each year hoping to get just a taste of what the city has to offer.
