Haute Event: Kenny Chesney and Jimmy Buffet Perform at Everglades Foundation Benefit; Raised $2.1 million

Around 700 guests flocked to The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach on Friday Feb. 18 for the Everglades Foundation’s annual ForEverglades Benefit. Kenny Chesney performed hit songs “Back Where I Come From” and “Somewhere with You,” followed by a surprise duet performance with legendary singer Jimmy Buffet.
Other attendees included golfing star and Everglades Foundation board member Jack Nicklaus, pro-tennis coach Nick Bollettieri and former no.1 world tennis player Mats Wilander.
By the end of the night, the event was able to raise $2.1 million for the Everglades Foundation’s scientific research programs.
