Dori’s World: New York Fashion Week–DVF, Cynthia Steffe, Moncler in Grand Central, and More

Last night, I went to the DVF show. Everyone was there! Alex von Furstenberg, Ali Kay, Barbara Walters, Anna Wintour, Virginia Smith, Bee Shaffer, Anh Duong, Barry Diller, Fergie, Fern Mallis, Fran Lebowitz, Molly Sims, Yvan Mispelaere, Coralie Charriol, Starlite Randall, Olivier Zahm, Cristina Cuomo, Fabiola Beracasa, Amanda Hearst, Marisa Berenson, Maggie Q, Stefan Kwiatkowski, Tatiana von Furstenberg, Rob Wiesenthal, and Lesley Sloane.
Then I was off to the Cynthia Steffe show with Stacey Pashcow, Flo Fulton, and Natasha Silver. Afterwards, Robert Verdi interviewed me for a segment of “Fashion Show on the Go.” Click here to view the video.
Our next stop was Grand Central Station for Nadine Johnson, Anthony Cooper and Jed Weinstein’s event for Moncler. This was definitely a great treat! Models dressed in burgundy, yellow, and grey colored Moncler dancing to music right in the middle of the station! Such a unique NYC moment. Carlos de Souza, Ludovic, Eddie Yedid, and Bronson Van Wyck all watched then presentation.
Then we were off to Jeffery Jah’s dinner at The Lambs Club at the Chatwal Hotel with Elizabeth Von Guttman, Alex von Furstenberg, Ali Kay, Zani Gugelmann, Jamison Ernest, Linda Vojtva, Andre Leon Talley, and Lorenzo Martone.

Grand Central has always been known for its constant crowds of passengers, but imagine walking past a black box concealing a 23,000-square foot store with one of largest companies in the world. Well, its official, the newest Apple Store will be open on Friday, just in time for holiday shopping.

Summertime, especially early July, is my favorite time of year to vacation in St. Tropez. The restaurants aren’t too crowded and hotspots such as Club 55 have a nice mix of patrons.
