A new American gastropub that has great food and a cool, funky atmosphere, Holeman & Finch offers highly upscale cuisine that will have you singing their praises long after you’re gone. Start things off with the glazed Beatrice eggplant or the Lamb Campagne, followed by the Skillet Mussels, Fish and Chips or the Crunchy Gentleman (black forest ham with melted gruyere) and finish things off with the must-have fried Georgia Peach Pie or the Brown Sugar Cake. Now we all know that no meal is truly complete until you pair it with a great beverage and there is some of the best beer in the city at this hotspot. There is a creed at TAP that sums up exactly what they hope customers get from their experience and what the popular Atlanta gastropub is all about. “Fresh ingredients, seasonal flavors, palatable pours and thirst-quenching brews all fuse together to create a unique culinary experience in a cordial setting. Locally grown ingredients are a staple, making it a truly local experience.” Those words greet you upon your visit to their website, and as a visitor myself I can definitely confirm that it’s all true. Several menu standouts include the Shrimp Tostadas, House Cured Salmon, Pan Roasted Chicken, Bronzed Scallops, Milk Chocolate Crème Brulée and the Vanilla Brioche Cake. Cap off your meal with the Chimay beer, Number’s Ale or Red Brick Brown for a taste that goes down smooth and slow.
