Buckle up, Vegas. The Sugar Factory is about to make dining and nightlife a little sweeter in Sin City. It all starts with the opening of Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas on Friday, March 4. The 30,000-square-foot space will house a restaurant, retail store and the decadent Chocolate Lounge. Slated to walk the red carpet are Kim Kardashian, Holly Madison, Mel B, David Arquette, Nicole Scherzinger, Bella Thorne, Simon Huck, Jonathan Cheban, Michael Madsen, DJ Havana and more.
Then on March 5, Chateau Nightclub & Garden opens with six-time Grammy nominee Drake. Special guest DJ Samantha Ronson will kick off her Las Vegas residency with a blend of Top 40, hip-hop and eclectic mash-ups, along with DJ Havana Brown, best known for opening for pop icon Britney Spears, making her Vegas debut.
The brasserie plans to serve food 24/7. A first look at the restaurant shows a spacious patio that leads to the confectionary heaven. The dining room has a traditional French brasserie feel with intricate details and handmade art from local artists accentuated by etched mirrors, black and white imagery and brass finishes.
The location will also sport the largest Sugar Factory retail store, clocking in at 6,000 square feet. We’re excited about the special edition, diamond-encrusted Couture Pop valued at $1 million.
The menu includes dishes such as smoked salmon frittata, grilled black Angus filet and toasted brioche eggs Benedict. The breakfast crowd will find gourmet waffles, omelets and crepes. And a place associated with the Sugar Factory will have desserts galore, such as raspberry lemon brulee pizza and the King Kong sundae with 24 different scoops of ice cream. Executive Chef Michael Sellmann, corporate Pastry Chef Michael Gillet and restaurant consultant Bryan Ogden conceived the menu.
The restaurant includes the Chocolate Lounge with chocolates flown in from Ecuador, Madagascar, Bolivia and the Dominican Republic. Chef Gillet plans to debut his red velvet fondue along with homemade bon bons and truffles, frozen hot chocolates and chocolate pizzas. Prices will range from $28 to $1,000.
When you’re hankering a brewski, head to the Chateau Beer Garden on the second floor with VIP cabanas alongside the edge of the patio. The bar will serve 20 different draught beers and dozens of bottled beers.
Then there’s the Chateau, a 45,000 square foot, two-story nightclub and Parisian gardens with three separate nightclub experiences. A spiral staircase leads guests to Chateau’s second-floor entrance with Old World decor mixed with touches of French. Dark shades of blue, fiery red accents and polished brass finishes bathe the interior along with mirrors everywhere. Chandeliers and bundles of handmade light fixtures light the nightclub. The recessed dance floor leads to VIP seating, all focusing on a 10-foot-tall marble mantel fireplace and elevated deejay booth. An LED screen spanning the length of the wall will stream audio/visual mash-ups.
On the Chateau Terrace, a 10,000-square-foot balcony overlooks the Strip. Backlit images of Monet’s famous “Water Lilies” painting will inspire the look of a garden pond.
And then for more, head up the glass elevators to Chateau Gardens, an outdoor nightclub featuring cabanas set to open this spring. It sits beneath the replica of the Eiffel Tower and naturally is modeled after a Parisian secret garden. Look for a rooftop dance floor, four bars, high-energy lighting, a third deejay booth, VIP seating and an eight-foot-tall glass wall encircling the rooftop.
The nightclub will be open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to close. Chateau’s industry night, Chateau Tuesdays, will offer complimentary admission to locals with ID on Tuesday nights. Local ladies are always free, while general admission is $20 for women and $30 for men, excluding special events.
