The shop specializes in vintage and hard-to-find candies, toys and other cool novelties, so this is a great place to stop for something unique, whether you're shopping for a friend, wee one or yourself.

Brought to you by the same people also responsible for national retailer Fuzziwig's Candy Factory, Sweets from Heaven may not be local, but you have to admit that it's one of everyone's favorites for all the right reasons. With more Jelly Beans, rainbow-colored lollipops, Gummi Bears, toffees, bubblegums, licorices, caramels, candy bars, German raspberries, Gobstoppers, taffies, Mike & Ikes, Air Heads, Razzles and chocolate-coated candies than you could shake a stick at, plus then some, you'll never experience a shortage of new things to try at Sweets from Heaven.

When it comes to candy, more is always better, right? For that reason, Sweeties Candy of Arizona -- family-owned and -operated for more than 60 years -- built a 5,000-square-foot warehouse-like space in order to display the more than 75,000 pounds (that's more than 3,000 different varieties) of candy they regularly stock for sugarheads such as ourselves. And with that much inventory, you can believe they have what you're looking for, whether it's mom or dad's favorite treat from generations back, or the latest and greatest "it" candy loved by kids today.

Originally founded in California, the Rocket Fizz shops are celebrity favorites in Sherman Oaks, Pasadena, Burbank and other spots around town, and the shop in Las Vegas is a popular place for celebs in need of a sugar rush. Although all the stores are independently owned and operated (minus three original stores in Cali), they all strive to exude the same quirky sense of humor, a touch of nostalgia, and a clear passion for candy and soda, soda, soda. Mother-daughter team Donna Gabrilson and Stacey Barnes are in the toffee business. They pride themselves on taking the tried and true recipes from past generations and adding modern updates and other surprises. And we adore the fact that they separate their toffees into those of the "Crunchy-Cozy (Traditional)" variety and the "Oh No You Didn't (Contemporary)" variety. Traditional toffees offered include classic peanut brittle and a peppermint bark, while contemporary creations include a salty-sweet toffee with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, dark Belgian cacao chocolate and French coarse sea salt, as well as a tempting cinnamon-hazelnut toffee.
