Haute Event: Vanessa Hudgens Celebrates Her 22nd Birthday at Pure Nightclub

Last night, former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens celebrated her 22nd birthday at Pure Nightclub inside of Caesars Palace. Despite her rumored breakup to longtime boyfriend Zac Efron, the Hollywood It girl still made it to her big Sin City birthday bash.

The young starlet, along with five of her closest friends, including Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow, kicked the night off with dinner at Social House inside Crystals at CityCenter. Hudgens and her entourage kept out of the public’s eye as they ate inside the private dining room, where they dined on Executive Chef Joe Elevado’s snow crab dynamite, citrus peel miso cod, shishito peppers and an assortment of sushi and sashimi including yellowtail jalapeño. Along with dinner, the group sipped on specialty cucumber cocktails. Following the main course, the birthday girl was presented with her favorite — red velvet cupcakes.

With still no sign of Efron, the beautiful actress made her grand entrance at Pure Nightclub. On the red carpet, the solo Hudgens dazzled in a sexy metallic silver dress by Pleasure Doing Business paired with black patent leather pumps. The actress posed for pictures as hundreds of admirers yelled her name and wished her a “Happy Birthday.” While on the carpet, she gushed about how her team decorated her trailer  for her birthday while on site in Hawaii filming “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” and how she can’t wait for what the New Year will bring. When asked about her relationship to Efron and if the twosome were still talking, the actress avoided the question put her thumbs up and said, “We’re good.”

Hudgens was then escorted inside to the club’s iconic main stage, quickly becoming the center of attention as the deejay announced her arrival to the crowd. Shortly after arriving to her luxe VIP table, the actress was presented with a 3-foot-tall red velvet birthday cake. Surprised and excited, she blew out her candles in front of the packed house as they cheered her on. Directly following the cake presentation, the girls drew the white drapes, closing off from the public for maximum privacy. While inside the enclosed VIP area, the girls sipped on cocktails, Champagne, Red Bull and even took shots to get the party started.

With the curtains closed and out of the public eye Hudgens through her purse down, took off her heels and started dancing with Tisdale and Snow. However, she did take a break and sat down when the song “Break Up” by Mario played in the background, but quickly got up again and started cheering when “On to the Next One” by Jay-Z came on. The energetic star didn’t stop all night as she danced while on top of the furniture, whipping her hair back and forth and even challenged Tisdale to a dance off. She was all smiles behind the scenes as she let loose to celebrate her special day.

A little after 1 am, the group decided to call it a night and return back to the Emperor’s Suite also known as the “Rain Man” Suite at Caesars Palace. The suite was also featured in the hit movie “The Hangover,” where they continued their private party.
