What Made Them Haute: JR and Loren founded Market America in a 1,200-square-foot house in North Carolina some 18 years ago. JR and Loren serve as CEO and senior vice president, respectively, of the brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in one-to-one-marketing. With more than six million customers and 180,000 Customer Managers worldwide, the company has generated more than $3.4 billion in accumulated retail sales. Market America is helping aspiring (and established) entrepreneurs all over the world harness the power of the Internet to create their own versions of paradise. It’s no wonder that tickets have already sold out (over 25,000!) to Market America’s annual International Convention, which will take place from Aug. 5-7 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in North Carolina.

What Makes Them Haute Now: The Ridingers are making headlines again! FastCompany.com recently launched the 2010 Influence Project, which will determine the most influential person on the internet. Both Loren and JR have been nominated, with Loren currently in the top 50 out of 20,000!

And just last week, Loren announced that she and pal Kim Kardashian are co-designing an exclusive line of luxury earrings for Loren Jewels (her signature handcrafted jewelry line). The new 20-piece “Kim Kollection” will officially launch at Market America’s International Convention and will be available for purchase this fall at Lorenjewels.com. Loren said, “Kim’s a fashion icon and millions of people are inspired by her style, making our collaboration on the ‘Kim Kollection’ a natural fit.” The earrings will feature precious gems like rubies, diamonds, and emeralds and is expected to reflect Kim’s glamorous and stylish Hollywood persona.
