On Tuesday, we took a look at the Haute 5 restaurants for locals, and the good news for Las Vegas is that it was difficult to pare down the list to just five. So today, we thought we’d give you three more restaurants off The Strip that you should really try. Here’s a look at the runners up.

Vintner Grill
In Las Vegas, we love our strip malls. Everything seems to be in one. Over in Summerlin, you may have to walk through a strip mall, but you’ll be transported to the Hamptons once you walk into Vintner Grill. The adorable garden features lanterns for lighting and a green and white motif decorating the canopied booths. Inside sits modern dining room in white and green with mirrors and decorations in white.

Place your order: Executive chef Matthew Silverman’s Mediterranean menu features lamb osso bucco, white bean hummus and a veal London broil that shouldn’t be missed. Decadent dessert selections by chocolatier Vosges Haut-Chocolat will give your taste buds a rare challenge.

Nora’s Wine Bar & Osteria
People come for the wine bar but stay for the Italian cuisine served family style. The Enomatic Wine Dispenser delivers temperature-controlled wines in one, three-, and six-ounce servings. The gizmo is capable of dispensing 60 wines by the glass, giving you a chance to sample a range without making a commitment. If you do find a winner, you can purchase it to take home.

Place your order: While white clothed tables pepper the dining room, choose instead to sit at the granite bar and order cicchetti (small plates) to share or one of the thin crust pizzas. Remember, this is a true Italian experience, so expect slow service and conversation with your neighbors.

Paymon’s Mediterranean
This joint started as a hip college hangout for UNLV students and morphed into a Greek, Persian and Middle Eastern restaurant with two locations. Head to the Summerlin outpost away from the students and stay for the hookah lounge with its beautiful walls in tapestry, velvet booths and lantern light. You’ll want to pass around one of the floral, fragrant pipes.

Place your order: The appetizers alone are reason to stop at Paymon’s. Try the falafel, a vegetarian mix of chickpeas, fava beans and fresh herbs; the flaming saganaki, a Greek cheese flambeed with Bacardi Rum; or the stuffed grape leaves.
