Haute Decor: The Haute 5 Home Decor Stores in Atlanta

When it comes to home decor and accessories, Atlanta is rich with choices. The best home decor gems are sprinkled throughout the city in places like Miami Circle, Buckhead and Westside. Although there is not enough space to mention all of the best spots around town, here are my picks for the Haute 5 home decor stores in Atlanta.

Verde Home

For the eco-style taste, Verde Home is definitely the place to go. Carrying a wide variety of home furnishings and accessories, their Westside space is a boutique home furnishings store specializing in ecologically sensitive interior style. The goal of Verde home is to provide “the finest home furnishings and the best customer service while minimizing the impact this has on the planet. Some of our favorites include the pieces from owner and designer Laura Walker. She finds great vintage pieces and gives them a modern twist. The one-of-a-kind art deco coffee table (pictured above) is one of her great creations.
Verde Home is located at 1000 Marietta S.t, Suite 244m, 678.927.9113

Owen Lawrence

Owen Lawrence is another design gallery/boutique on the Westside of town. Everything in this luxurious gift and home accessories shop radiates beauty. From the glass, works of art, porcelain and fine linens, Owen Lawrence truly provides pieces for the discerning shopper. With their divine selection of tabletop sets including flatware, barware and silverware, it is a great place to register as well.  They carry a number of upscale luxury brands including Baccarat, Colle and L’objet.

Owen Lawrence is located at 1200 Howell Mill Rd., Suite A, 404.869.7360.

Ligne Roset

Ligne Roset embodies European contemporary furniture. At this fourth-generation high-end furniture maker, you won’t be able to find these pieces anywhere else. Known for their artful collaborations with a mix of new and established contemporary designers, Ligne Roset offers a sleek and fresh furniture and a mix of accessories including lighting rugs and textiles that complement these looks. Located in the heart of Midtown, the location caters to the luxury high rise condos that surround this area.

Ligne Roset is located at 800 Peachtree St. N.E., 404.881.0500.

Pieces

Owner Lee Kleinhelter’s Buckhead store, Pieces, is a great mix of traditional as well as contemporary items. Finding pieces on trips throughout the country, many of the pieces are refurbished by Lee making them totally unique.  The homely store has a lot of selection so be sure to take the time and really look through the setups. Look for fun pieces, like the chrome tufted chairs upholstered in hot pink (pictured above) and a custom reclaimed marble and wood table. The selection of accessories and décor is endless and constantly changing. Currently, we are loving the Gold leaf wire pendant chandelier and the charcoal coaster set made from cold coast resin river sand.

Pieces is located at 3234-A Roswell Rd., 404.869.2476.

Huff Furniture

Nothing about Huff Furniture is low key. In fact, most everything in this Peachtree showroom is over-the-top glam. Without even going in, you can see the acrylic tables and velvet round beds on display. Ultra-modern and ultra-glitzy, the family-owned business has been working with Atlanta clientele since 1957.  Committed to custom design pieces, Huff makes sure you find exactly what you are looking for. That suites clients well, especially their celebrity roster, which includes Jermaine Dupri, Usher and Ludacris. In addition to their custom and contemporary furniture Huff offers an array of lighting and home accessories.

Huff Furniture is located 3178 Peachtree Rd., 404.261.7636.
