What Makes Him Haute Now: Oscar de la Renta’s fashion designs are always at the forefront of style. According to a White House correspondent, the famed fashion designer has been called upon to design a wedding dress for “America’s Princess,” Chelsea Clinton. De la Renta will create her a custom-designed gown for the rumored $2 million dollar affair that will take place on July 31. De la Renta is also said to be dressing Hillary Clinton, which is not surprising considering the former First Lady often wore his designs in the past. Many are curious to see what the typically conservative Clintons will be wearing on the wedding day. But one thing’s for sure, with de la Renta on the job, they’ll both be beautifully appropriate.
