A Tribute to Andy Warhol by Dom Pérignon
Last night at a private press launch, the prestigious Dom Pérignon Champagne revealed three limited-edition champagne bottles for what they are calling, “A Tribute to Andy Warhol.”
Warhol often spoke of his fondness for the vintage Champagne back in the late ’70s and early ’80s when he was known for partying at clubs like New York City’s Studio 54. Dom Pérignon now shows some love for the King of Pop Art by creating reinterpretations of the Champagne’s standard label in classic Warhol style. Specifically, bold yellow, red, and blue are used to mimic Warhol’s signature color schemes.
These Dom Pérignon limited addition bottles will be available to the public starting Oct. 15, and will be sold at fine wine purveyors nationwide with a suggested retail price of $150.
