She may be an old girl but she still keeps it fresh and new. The world’s only Playboy Club will host a celebration for the Playboy Club’s 50th anniversary tomorrow night at 10 p.m. at the Palms. Holly Madison, a former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, plans to make an appearance as a celebrity Playboy Bunny dealer.

When the first Playboy Club opened in Chicago in 1960, it revolutionized nightlife and provided a sexy, sophisticated playground for pleasure-seeking patrons to mingle with beautiful women, the social elite and the biggest names in sports and entertainment. The Playboy Club grew to be the most successful nightclub chain in history.

For more than 25 years, there were 30 Playboy Clubs owned or licensed by Playboy around the world, employing more than 25,000 Playboy Bunnies and attracting more than one million Playboy Club Key holders. Similar to Playboy magazine, the clubs became associated with “the good life,” and Time magazine called the Playboy key “a status symbol equivalent to a Phi Beta Kappa key from Yale.” The Playboy Clubs of today are a reinterpretation of Hugh Hefner’s original vision to create exciting and sophisticated nightlife for both men and women.

Madison, who stars in Peepshow at Planet Hollywood Resort and debuts her reality TV series Holly’s World on E! June 13, will announce Miss 50, a female who will proudly represent the momentous occasion. The winner will be honored with luxurious gifts and pampering, including: $1,000 in cash, a complimentary night’s stay at the Palms, a Swedish massage at Drift Spa at Palms Place, dinner for two at Nove Italiano, a complimentary bottle and table at the Playboy Club and a photo shoot. Miss 50 will also have a presence in the new Miss Playboy Club calendar in 2011.

Vegas isn’t the only city that gets to celebrate the landmark event. On that same night, 50 parties in 50 cities around the world will join in a global celebration for the birthday of one of the most recognized icons in history.
