Something new to try in Dubai? It’s wine tasting nights at Cin Cin Bar in the Fairmont. Whether you’re an expert wine connoisseur or just a beginner you can learn more about the textures and bouquets of international favorites as well as regional varieties.

Once a month Cin Cin Bar offers a wine tasting course revolving around a different theme and culture of wine. June’s specialty will be wine from Alsace. For two hours you can learn everything about the wine’s origins and textures and taste four premium wines while nibbling on the chef’s artisan cheese platter. Very yummy!

Matthew Jones, a wine sales executive and educator from African and Eastern Ltd (A & E), will host the 10-class course. “Wine tasting events feed people’s interest in wine; it encourages people to branch out and try different things, as well demystifying the whole subject, which makes people feel more comfortable around the product,” he said in a recent interview with Hotelier Middle East.
