Mirror Mirror On The Wall Who’s The Fairest Of Them All?

Scott Barnes (www.scottbarnes.com) beauty book launch brought us to the atmospheric atelier of Colombian designer, Silvia Tscherassi (www.silviatscherassi.com) in Coral Gables recently. The theatrical set designs of mannequins impress as you enter the atelier. The couture pieces are more like artwork and the back wall actually showcases an artistic portrait of the designer herself.

Barnes new book, “About Face” shares his secrets so we can all aspire to have star quality daily. He has been coined the ‘guru of glow’ for giving Jennifer Lopez her signature glow. This look became known as “lit from within” and triggered the launch of his best-selling beauty product, ‘Body Bling Bronzer’. Celine Dion says Scott is not only a talented artist, but a great guy. I experienced that personally as he signed my book, posed for pix and shared a genuine smile with all of his admirers for the paparazzi. A requisite DJ played amongst bridal gowns while champagne was sipped by the sophisticated crowd.

Barnes attended Parson’s School of Design and upon graduation started working with numerous fashion photographers. He rapidly rose to stardom himself as he beautified a long list of super stars from Kate Hudson to Beyonce to Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Aguilera and more.

I will read “About Face” in my spare time to have a few new tricks up my sleeve as I head out and about on the town! Hey, don’t we all want look our best!
