Gone Country
by Meredith Mulligan

Whether it was the fringe and suedes reminiscent of the Wild West or the palm trees cropping up in collections from Prada to Giuseppe Zanotti, this season definitely had us in a state of nostalgia. For those of you looking to kick back on a relaxed weekend getaway north in the valley or south in the desert, we think a little bit of country glamour will take you there—sartorially speaking, of course. Enjoy a game of backgammon with friends and family, but beat them in style. Arrive with Chanel’s must-have clogs on your feet, and add a dash of cowgirl flare with Ralph Lauren’s bandana-print backpack. Top your look with a pair of chic shades and a stack of Hermès bangles, and you are ready for backgammon domination.
