The Wall St. Cheat Sheet Premium Monthly Newsletter delivered, yet again, another big win toward our strong track record. Monday, after-the-bell, our Featured Trade from the March 2010 Premium Newsletter, Atheros Communications Inc (ATHR), issued a phenomenal quarterly earnings report.

Atheros Communications (ATHR) jumped $3.90, or 9.7%, to a peak on the week of $43.90 per share, on very strong earnings and future outlook. ATHR posted adjusted earnings of $.57 cents per share and revenue of $214.7 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters were looking for an average of $.51 cents per share and revenue of $201.2 million. The wireless networking chipmaker’s big time customers include Apple (AAPL) and Nintendo.

Chief Executive Craig Barrett said on the conference call, “Our success in growing the top line, and more importantly, the design win momentum in each of our sales channels, further validate our hybrid networking strategy and demonstrate our diversification initiatives are paying dividends.”

Atheros Communications (ATHR) projects earnings of $.62 cents to $.67 cents per share, on revenue of $230 million to $240 million, next quarter.
