Hotel News: Fashion 26 Opens in New York’s Chelsea Neighborhood
New York’s Chelsea neighborhood just got a whole lot trendier. On April 15, Fashion 26, a Wyndham Hotel, opened at 152 West 26th Street and will be serving out-of-town chicsters in their 280 rooms, 22-story space.
With interiors inspired by the nearby Fashion District, the lobby boasts a reception desk modeled after a fashion studio cutting-room table, and they have commissioned a rotating art program from the kids over at the Fashion Institute of Technology—their photography will light up the hallways of this fashion-oriented hotel. The staff will be dressed in uniforms designed by Pink, Ralph Lauren, and Kangol, and guests will be greeted by Crumb cupcakes at check-in. What’s more? The Rare Grill & Bar will be serving delicious dishes for late-night cravings, and the Rare View rooftop bar will be mixing up creative cocktails for the 21-plus crowd.
Room rates have been discounted through June; so if you are planning a trip to Manhattan, check out Fashion 26.
