Haute Highlights: What’s Haute in Tribeca

In honor of the Tribeca Film Festival, which kicks off today, I dug through Haute Living New York archives and pulled out our round-up of the best locales in Tribeca. The “What’s Haute Tribeca” article, which originally ran in our NY film industry-themed April/May 2009 edition, served as a road map to the neighborhood, directing readers where to dine, shop, beautify, stay, and party during the festival.

What was haute in 09? For restaurants, we chose Chanterelle and Megu. As for where to stay, we pointed readers in the direction of the Tribeca Grand. Before hitting the red carpet at a film premiere, we suggested heading to Edris Salon, and to wind down (or get the night started), we suggested Brandy Library. You can read our reasoning behind the choices by checking out the entire article here. My question to readers is this: Did the author’s choices stand the test of time? Are these still the hautest venues in 2010?
