Last year, we debuted the premiere Haute 100 Miami edition of Haute Living, which highlighted the 100 most influential individuals in the world’s most magical city. Over the course of the past 12 months, we have been revising the list, making note of some new players who deserve a spot on our rankings and updating the bios of the other Haute 100 members. Today, I am pleased to announce that the Haute 100 Miami list for 2010 has been released.

The list is broken down into categories: Billionaires, Power Couples, Entrepreneurs, Entertainers, Athletes, Philanthropists, Thinkers (writers, politicians, directors, art collectors, lawyers, coaches), and Originators (developers, designers, architects, artists, chefs). With a solid balance in each category, the Haute 100 provides a thorough cross section of the people who are running this town.

You will see some familiar names from the premiere list, although each of the bios has been expanded, providing our readers with even more info about what it is that makes these 100 power players “haute.” In the coming weeks, we will be launching a new feature that provides each of these enterprising individuals with a dedicated page on HauteLiving.com, which will include links to each article, blog post, and event that mentions the Haute 100 member. We have a team scouring through our archives right now putting these pages together for you, and I will let you know when this exciting new platform is live.
