Caesars Palace Opens Eight New Pools in the Garden of the Gods
When the gods want a pool to call their own, they must be looking down on the Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace. The newly redesigned pool playground features five acres with eight pools on three levels, each with their own personality.
You can gamble, sun, relax, worship and network at this oasis. No Roman garden would be complete without statues, fountains and landscaping inspired by the gods themselves.
The sun gods called for more sunlight, so engineers tracked the sun and expanded the pool area south and west to allow all-day basking. The new Fortuna pool features an 18-foot waterfall where guests can challenge Lady Luck at the swim-up blackjack tables situated near the Fortuna Bar, where the speciality is cocktails with freshly squeezed juices.
At the Apollo pool, named for the Roman god of light and sun, look for sun worshipping at its finest. The pool sits in the southwest corridor of the oasis for maximum sun exposure and features five cabanas and six canopied daybeds as well as chaise lounges perfect for soaking in the Las Vegas sun.
The two Bacchus pools sit 18 feet above the others with two curved staircases leading up to it. This area is the most private among the pools with invited guests only. Chaise lounges set in the shallow pools, an individual whirlpool and VIP cabanas staffed with butlers are some of the area’s special features.
Neptune is the social hub of the pools, sitting near Fortuna Bar. Eight cabanas, 10 daybeds and chaise lounge chairs make this an area to see and be seen.
The Jupiter pool is quite the opposite. Lined with cabanas, this pool plays subdued ambient music and comes equipped to offer spa services from Qua Baths & Spa in the cabanas.
Temple pool creates the centerpiece for the Garden of the Gods. With a perfect mix of sun and shade, the pool provides the perfect setting for families. Children splash around in the rotunda’s central fountains.
Finally, Venus Pool Club is a sophisticated and secluded European-style retreat created by the owners of Pure Nightclub. Guests must be 21 and older to come in.
The Garden of the Gods is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through October. Rental of daybeds, scoop chairs and cabanas is available for both hotel and non-hotel guests. For more information or reservations, call 702- 731-7266.
