The official opening of CUSP kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and the powers that be are inviting guests to come by and “drink in some drama.”

CUSP represents Neiman’s effort to reach a savvy and cutting-edge clientele. Targeting a youthful, fashion-forward demographic (imagine the daughters of the ladies who lunch), the luxury department store group forgoes the plush, overly-luxe feel of its typical store strategies in favor of an edgier, fresher vibe. CUSP features contemporary lines such as Phillip Lim 3.0, Jet and J Brand jeans, and Morphine Generation, with footwear by Repetto and Salvador Sapena, and it-bags by Chloe, Marc Jacobs, and Kooba, among others.

But it’s not just about fashion at CUSP; it is about presenting a whole lifestyle. CDs, books, and vintage finds are a part of the inventory as well.
