This week, we have been publishing excerpts from our interview with John Cooper, the director of the Sundance Film Festival. Just weeks after the festival ended, Cooper sat down with Haute Living to reflect on the success of his first go-round as director. His answers led to Haute Living Los Angeles naming Sundance as the “Hautest Film Festival” in our Premiere Hollywood Power Player Awards. Being that he is so entrenched in the independent film world, I felt it appropriate to ask him what he thought of this year’s blockbusters, such as Avatar.
